Our policies outline the cancellation reasons that customers can and cannot claim for. So unless this example is listed in the policy wording, this instance wouldn't be covered. As this reason isn't outlined in the policy wordings, customers wouldn't be entitled to claim for cancellation due to prison sentence or being arrested.
And if a customer's family member was arrested or going to prison and therefore the customer didn't want to travel - this would be classed as 'disinclination of travel', which is not covered on any of our policies as standard.
