Just a reminder that we cannot amend the lag on any new policies purchased after the 1st July 2020 and we cannot amend the new dates to fake dates. Only planned or actual new dates.

If you have a customer that has an old policy (purchased prior to the 1st July 2020), which needs to be added to the Amends Lag Doc, you will now need to email the details over to insurance.team@holidayextras.com
When emailing the Insurance Support Team, please include the following information on ALL emails regarding amending the lag:
- The policy number
- Single or annual
- Customer's name
- New start date
- New end date
- Destination
- Are the dates confirmed (we cannot amend to fake dates)?
Remember - the lag starts on the date of purchase, not the start date of the policy! (For Aggregators, customers get 18 months to use the policy but we are offering a further 6 months extension, so that means they now get 24 months to use the policy. For other policies before 1st July 2020, they usually get 24 months to use the policy but with the extra 6 months, they now get 30 months to use the policy).
