Cruise Cover includes:
1) Missed port (first port they get on only).
2) Unused cruise excursions.
3) Cruise itinerary change.
4) Cabin confinement.
If our HX cruise policies declines, please give them ITHC's contact details.
Just a friendly reminder to reiterate, that if a customer's cruise is costing more than £20,000 per person and we are therefore unable to provide them cover. We should absolutely be offering to transfer them through to ITHC on 0845 465 1717 (Transfer number 4951). Open Monday to Friday, from 9 - 6.30pm and Saturday, from 9am - 1pm.
Exclusions
- A customer cannot claim for an unused excursion or missed port, if the captain has cancelled it for a reason and offered some sort of onboard-compensation, such as free dinner and drinks. As technically, you’ve already been reimbursed for this.
- These must be pre-booked excursions i.e. the customer can only claim for them, if they pre-booked the trip before it took place.
