For single trip TIF policies - In the CC, we can quote up to 8 adults or travellers on a single policy.
For annual TIF policies - You can only have a maximum of 7 adults per annual policy. Here are the rules for AMT TIF policies:
- Individual rated - Max 7 adults
- Couple rated - Max 2 adults
- Family rated - Max 2 adults (max 5 children)
- Single Parent Family rated - Max 1 adult (max 5 children)
These are the same rules for TIF (new), Aggregator (TIF) and the Essential (TIF) policies too, for before and after July 2020 policies.
For individual rated policies, customers do not need to be living at the same address. If a policy is sold as a couple or family rate, then customers do need to be residing at the same address.
Important Note - If the child is under 1 years old, you will not be able to get a quote on MG for them and will need to trick the system by making them 1 years old, saving the quote and then editing their date of birth and re-saving.
