TIF
TIF have confirmed that a respiratory condition relates to any breathing condition, including childhood/mild asthma.
In respects to things such as pneumonia/bronchitis, we use the rule of: if they have not had pneumonia in the last 2 years and they have not declared any other form of breathing condition, then we will not need to declare the pneumonia. If, however, they have had another respiratory condition, i.e. COPD, then the pneumonia would need to be declared.
With regards to chest infections: these will only need to be declared if they are within the last two years or if they are continuous preventative antibiotics to prevent further chest infections.
