Personal Accident

Personal accident cover refers to the cover on the policy for once customer's are back in the UK. So if returning home the customer's lose their sight, a limb or die as a result of the accident or need any further treatment or they are out of work as a result, they are entitled to claim under medical expenses (providing they are not linked to any undeclared conditions or any activities not covered on the policy).

'Personal Accident' is referred to in the TIF policy as, "If you are killed, injured or disabled following an accident." Operative clause: "You suffered an accident whilst on your trip which, within 12 months, directly caused your death, injury or disablement."
 
Personal Accident Cover is not in all TIF product levels. 
 
Cover is excluded where certain activities are undertaken, as called out in the Activities section in the Policy Wording, or general exclusions.
