Aggregators (TIF) - How do I refer something?

To Action:

  • To refer something to TIF, you NO longer email TIF, copying in the Insurance Managers email address. 
  • You now need to speak to a TL first, whether via email, ichat, face-to-face etc, who will check over your referral query first, to see if it needs referring. If the TL deems that the query should be referred, you then need to forward it to Jade Bain, copying in all the Insurance TL's email addresses. And Jade will then forward it to TIF. Jade Bain will then take 48 working hours to respond but please note, she only works Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Her email is: jade.bain@holidayextras.com.
  • Please put in the email subject field to your TL - Customer's policy number, holiday start date and brief description of query. If the query is urgent, put URGENT in the subject field. 
  • Don't forget to leave booking history! And please remember, The TIF Underwriting Team has access to Magenta Gold and will be able to view booking history etc. 
  • Do complete the quote as much as you can, do not give the customer the price or their quote number, (as we may not be able to cover them) and answer the below referral questions. 
  • The referral questions are below but your answers to them will need to go in the 'Event Log' section on Magenta Gold and in your email to your TL. 
  • When you get a response from your TL or Jade, please note in booking history and then contact the customer. 
  • All drug or medical trials would need to be referred to the Underwriter. 
  • This will ONLY be the case for TIF referrals. Any AGA, GTG or White Horse policies, follow their own processes. 

Referral Questions:

  1. What scheme/policy? e.g. Aggregator, Silver, Gold, Plus Cruise?
  2. Screening documents attached?
  3. How many people are travelling?
  4. What are the ages of each person travelling?
  5. Where are they travelling to?
  6. Trip start and end dates?
  7. What activity / type of work are they looking to do?
  8. Where relevant please provide details and a link to the website? (For example, if completing an organised trip with various activities, or taking part in an organised trip where they will be "working", please provide a copy of the web address). 
  9. Have you checked Help Centre or the Policy Wording?
  10. Name of the Manager who authorised the Referral?

For Back to Back Cruising:

  1. Please include whether they are getting off the ship?
  2. Where the customer is getting off?
  3. How long are they off the ship for? 

For Sports Activities:

  1. Will this be competitive and if yes, amateur or professional?
  2. Will it be fundraising? (Note: We cannot cover competing at a professional level).

For Work Activities:

  1. Is this voluntary or paid work?
  2. Do they have related work experience?
  3. Does it involve any manual work or working with animals?
  4. How often will they be participating in the activity or working?
