The aim of these products is to be ONLINE SALES. You may receive calls but these should be handled as help & support calls and referring customers back to the site to purchase where possible. If the customer is having problems purchasing the policy online you can now do this over the phone.
If a customer is going on a cruise, they have to purchase the cruise extension or they will not be covered. They cannot buy a policy excluding the cruise cover and be covered for everything else e.g. cancellation, baggage, medical etc.

Can I amend a policy booked on a comparison site?
Amendments should be handled in the CC in the same way as all other direct customers.
Aggregator policy's are sometimes coming up with no address and second passenger details. Please can you amend these policies on Magenta Gold and add address and other passenger details.
Where is my address field?
As the customer entered their address on the comparison site, we have simply stored this for you and you will see it in your email confirmation.
I want to change my email address?
The customer email address is taken from the comparison site and stored in our system. If they want to change it, they should go back to the comparison site and update it before proceeding to our payment page.
Where can I see my medical information?
The medical information can be found in your basket under medical screening if they click on this it will auto download and then you can open this and read about the conditions you have declared.

The policy wording link can be found in the basket on the HX payment page, on the confirmation page and in the email confirmation for the customer.

Can I cancel an Aggregator policy on MG?
As long as the policy is within 14 days and there are no claims pending or outstanding and it's not a MSM NON-MEDICAL policy, these can be cancelled in full in Magenta Gold. For any policy that is outside our 14 day cooling off period, normal pro-rata cancellation terms and conditions follow. As you can see from the screenshot below, there is also a statement for this in RED on the 'confirmation' page in MG to remind you.
Please be aware that when endorsing a MSM policy, once you click 'save endorsement', the money will AUTOMATICALLY be taken from the customer. You need to ensure that the customer is happy to pay the additional premium before you click save. There is a statement on MG on the 'confirmation' page that states this as seen below:
For MSM policies, if a customer needs to add medical to their existing NON-medical policy, this requires a cancel and rebook, due to the way Magenta Gold is set-up. To treat these customers fairly, as we are not able to change Campaigns on Magenta Gold for these policies, we will offer these customers a full refund on their NON-medical policy, as long as they purchase their new medical policy with us. Please can you confirm if any claims are pending etc and email the request over to insurance.team@holidayextras.com. Otherwise and for AMT MSM and Travel Agent policies, normal cancellation terms and conditions follow.
