TIF PRODUCTS (SOLD FROM APRIL 2019) - What is the eligibility for a policy?

• They must be either a UK resident or Channel Island or British Forces Posted Overseas.
• Have not started their trip. The customer must not have left the UK on the trip to be issued with a policy.
• The trip must start and finish within the UK.
• Registered with a UK doctor - Even though we no longer ask this at the start of the call, customers still need to be registered with a UK doctor. For a customer to have UK residency, this includes being registered with a UK doctor, being in the UK for more than 6 months in the last 12 months). This is especially important, if a customer says they have dual nationality or dual residency. 
• The customer can have a non UK passport providing they are able to confirm the above.
• Are not travelling specifically to receive medical treatment during their trip, or in the knowledge that they are likely to need treatment.
• Are not travelling against the advice of their doctor or a medical professional such as your dentist.
• They do NOT have to have a trip booked before purchasing the insurance.
