TIF PRODUCTS (SOLD FROM APRIL 2019) - What is the maximum and minimum Cancellation Cover I can add onto a policy?

Just a friendly reminder to reiterate, that if a customer's cruise is costing more than £20,000 per person and we are therefore unable to provide them cover. We should absolutely be offering to transfer them through to ITHC on 0845 465 1717 (Transfer number 4951). Open Monday to Friday, from 9 - 6.30pm and Saturday, from 9am - 1pm.
 
If the standard cover is not adequate, we must be adding the required additional cancellation amount. 
 
Under Insuring Cancellation Cover - As you know, we can only include Cancellation Cover in increments of £1,000 per person. And say a customer's holiday costs £3,100, we should automatically be offering £4,000 Cancellation Cover and not £3,000 Cancellation Cover.
 
However, if the customer is adamant that they do not want the extra Cancellation Cover or the lower amount, you MUST speak to a Team Leader who will decide what options we can offer.
 
And even though TIF gave us the guideline of 10% of the total holiday value per person, this has to be pre-agreed with a TL. 
 
The 10% rule - For example, if they're going on a £10,000 per person trip, we could potentially under insure by £1,000, *IF* agreed by a TL.
