Latitude (AGA) - Known referral responses

Hiking/Trekking
Please note that there is a maximum height limit of 5449 meters, for organised treks. Any trek/hike above this limit, or where it's an independent trek/hike up to 5449 meters will not be covered and they should find alternative cover.

Working abroad
In majority of cases, each working abroad case should be referred, but to help simplify this, the following applies: Should anyone be working an office style job, including teaching children, (and not working with machinery/animals) we can provide cover for the trip and activity, but there will be no public liability in place whilst working. Manual work is a straight decline.

Trampolining - competition / training / coaching
We can provide cover for the trip and activity as standard, but there will be no personal liability in place whilst training, performing, coaching, teaching or competing.

Football - competition / training / coaching
As this will take place outside of the hotel resort, then we can provide cover for this trip and activity but they must pay the hazardous activity top up to be covered for this activity. Furthermore there will be no personal liability cover in place whilst training, performing, coaching, teaching or competing.

Organised boat / sailing trips
As long as it's part of an organised boat / sail boat hire or trip, we can provide cover, however there will be no personal liability cover in place whilst operating/sailing the boat and they must remain within territorial waters. If however you are unsure in anyway, then please refer the case over.

Helicopter rides
Yes we can offer cover for helicopter flights providing it is an organised tour and they are fare paying passengers rather than the pilot. Personal accident and personal liability cover would be excluded.

Quad biking (As mode of transport)

AGA have confirmed they would allow a quad bike to be used as a mode of transport providing the rider wears a crash helmet and follows all guidelines set out by the provider. It would not cover for theft or damage so separate insurance would need to be taken out for that. Also no drinking whilst using the vehicle.

Please note: There is no cover for any kind of professional sporting activity, any kind of racing except on foot, or any kind of manual work or operating heavy machinery.

For Activities listed below, AGA will not cover and customers should seek travel insurance elsewhere for the whole of their trip, not just for the activity:
