TIF PRODUCTS (SOLD FROM JULY 2020) - Can we cancel a policy if the customer’s tour operator has cancelled their trip and given a full refund on the cost of the holiday?

NO! For single trips, the customer will receive a 50% refund. This is because insurance is based on risk, and they have had cover for cancellation since the policy was issued, therefore there has been an element of risk TIF have covered. 

If the customer has rebooked another trip, we can amend the trip dates. however, we can NOT downgrade area of cover or policy E.G Gold to Silver. If the customer has purchased additional cancellation cover, this can NOT be removed. If the amended duration reduces the price, the difference can be refunded.
