TIF have said on this matter, "No. It’s not an unexpected medical emergency. It’s a decision. All claims are assessed on an individual basis. So if it was a reason for cancellation, this could be considered but I cannot comment if the claim would be successful. If the termination was close to travel, please send over, so that we can assess on an individual basis, with relevant information i.e. like side effects and the way it was done."
