TIF have said on this matter, "People can make a voluntary declaration of miscarriage but it would not be compulsory, unless complications arise. We would rely on 'GP fit to travel certificate', in case of disputed claim. If someone was pregnant and had been told there was a high risk of miscarriage, (for example episodes of bleeding), please send over and we can assess on a case by case basis."
