Latitude (AGA) - Do we cover pregnancy?

There is no maximum number of weeks whereby we would / would not provide cover. However they must not travel against the advise of their doctor / midwife and they must not travel with the intention of having the baby abroad.

If their due date is whilst they are away, they will not be covered.

We will only cover emergency treatment, regardless of the number of weeks.

Normal childbirth (generally considered to be from 38 weeks) is not unforeseen and would not be covered.

Unforeseen emergency medical and associated expenses will be covered so long as :

  • Your doctor confirms you were not travelling against medical advice, were fit to travel and able to undertake the planned trip.
  • And you complied with the transport providers conditions of carriage related to pregnancy.
