Yes! We can offer any policies to under 18's travelling alone, they do not need to be accompanied throughout the trip by someone over the age of 18 but must be accompanied to their departure point by a responsible adult.
We issue the policies in the same way on the system and the same terms and conditions apply. The only difference is, in some instances, cover limits may reduce due to the age of the customer - E.g personal money and personal accident. Please check the individual policy wording.
Can we offer Winter Sports on a Child Only policy - Yes. AGA can offer Winter Sports cover for children. This can be found added on, via the Scheme page.
Please note -
- If a child is travelling with an adult insured by the same policy, then Winter Sports cover may be offered at the reduced child rate.
- If a child is not travelling with an adult insured by the same policy, then they have to pay the full adult premium. As the child discount applies only if travelling with an insured adult.
Can we provide a quote for a child with medical conditions? - Yes we can.
Can we provide an annual policy for a child travelling alone? No, we can only provide a single trip quote.
Can we provide a cruise policy for a child travelling alone? - No, unfortunately we do not provide cruise cover on child only policies.
Can we provide a policy for travel within the UK? - Yes.
